About Us
NTPN is a membership organization for educators and employers involved in the advancement of Tech Prep and related education reform initiatives. Founded by CORD in 1991, NTPN has 3,000 members across the United States. NTPN assists its members in planning, implementing, evaluating, and improving Tech Prep programs by pooling the resources of the country's leading practitioners to provide a network of communication for new and existing programs.

Membership Benefits and Activities
The National Tech Prep Network serves as a conduit for timely information and effective partnerships. Through the network, practitioners can receive solutions to such challenges as program implementation and administration, counseling, funding, and recruitment. The network also serves as a vehicle for practitioners, businesses, industries, and educational organizations to forge partnerships, through which they mutually benefit from the successes of one another. Most NTPN members are teachers, administrators, counselors, employers, and community leaders who are involved in high school or community college workforce education programs.

Benefits include discounts on national conference registration that is greater than the cost of membership, membership in the Career Pathways Strategic Improvement Coalition (CPSIC), a chance to apply for the Exemplary Worksite Learning Award sponsored by Caterpillar Inc., access to the NTPNTalk Listserv with over 1,000 members, the latest issues of the Connections Newsletter, access to the Tech Prep Resource Library, and technical assistance.
