The discussion groups helped inform this paper, and while not all participants endorse all aspects of the document, they are hopeful of a serious review of many of its contents during the reauthorization process.

Education & Work, Education Reform Issues
The Integrated System for Workforce Education Curricula is a totally new and revolutionary approach to curriculum design.  Its Integrated Curriculum Standards (from academic, occupational and employability sources) are the products of a carefully designed integration process.  Joint work between education and business (as partners), as well as integrated work between high school and post-secondary levels are highlighted.  This way the curriculum becomes a society based effort that will play a vital role in the global economy of the world of tomorrow, in which the productivity of the knowledge will be key.
