Since 1979, CORD has been in the business of improving education through substantive curriculum design and teacher professional development.
Since its inception, CORD has provided leadership in contextual teaching and learning methods for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education.

Partnering with organizations from across the nation, CORD has taken a leadership position with the Career Pathways and Adult Career Pathways initiatives by providing professional development opportunities with the National Career Pathways Network Conference, Career Pathways Leadership Certification Workshops, Adult Career Pathways model sites, and both standardized and customized career and technical education curricula.

The CORD staff members are proud of their ability to convene and work with leaders across the nation in our mission to reform teaching approaches to mathematics and science, improve career and technical education, and positively impact the futures of students.
