Welcome to the Center for Occupational Research and Development

Strengthen Employer Partnerships
Through the C2A3 BILT Academy

How can your agriculture program stay aligned with rapidly changing workforce needs? The C2A3 BILT Academy will help community and technical colleges build sustained partnerships with employers that lead to stronger programs, more relevant curriculum, and graduates prepared for tomorrow’s workforce.

Selected colleges will participate in an eight-month cohort led by experts from the Center for Occupational Research and Development (CORD), receiving professional development, one-on-one coaching, facilitation support, and proven tools for implementing the nationally recognized Business & Industry Leadership Team (BILT) model. Rather than relying on traditional advisory committees, BILTs engage employers as co-leaders who help identify the knowledge, skills, and abilities graduates will need 12–36 months into the future.

Participation is free for teams from agriculture-related programs at two-year colleges. Applications are due September 10, 2026, and the Academy begins in October 2026.
